Social Unblock & Region Check
Most social networks are reachable globally, but a few are blocked in specific countries. Twitter/X is the canonical hard-to-reach service from mainland China; Telegram is blocked in China and partially in Iran; Discord is blocked in the UAE. For users outside those regions, social networks are generally open — and the bottleneck becomes ISP-level throttling or DNS poisoning rather than service-side blocks.

How social networks are blocked
Some governments block social networks at the network layer (DNS poisoning, SNI filtering, IP blacklists). When that's the case, no amount of browser-side change helps — you need a proxy that tunnels the connection. Other networks are reachable but slow, usually because of long-haul routing. IPCombo's connectivity matrix tells you which case you're in.
