Mobile IP
An IP address assigned to a mobile carrier, rotating across millions of subscribers.
Mobile IPs are addresses in the ranges allocated to mobile carriers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T Wireless, China Mobile, NTT DoCoMo, KDDI). Mobile carriers use Carrier-Grade NAT, so a single public IP can represent thousands of subscribers at any given moment — and the IP rotates frequently as subscribers connect and disconnect.
This IP rotation makes mobile IPs hard to block: a false positive blocks millions of real subscribers, and the blocked IP rotates out within hours anyway. The hardest services (banking apps, some games, certain AI features) explicitly trust mobile ranges and block everything else.
